Academic Program

This alternative education program combines academic rigor with a play based and nature-focused approach to learning.​

• Cozy indoor & outdoor classrooms, designed for comfort and maximized learning

• A shortened school day/week; designed to place priority on the family-school-life balance

• Outdoor Adventures: Children climb, swing, build, garden, and explore our nature trail, experiencing seasonal changes and wildlife firsthand.

• Small class sizes: Three core classes/teachers with a maximum of 8 students per class

• A focus on the core academic subjects of Math, Language Arts, Science, and Socials Studies

• Learning with Animals: Emotional and academic growth comes naturally through caring for and observing animals.

• Mixed-Age Groups: Encouraging peer mentoring and supporting each child’s individual learning pace.
